, ok, that's not the real pony, but goverment officials are ...

Stripper Zaps Coworker

Police in Fort Worth are searching for an exotic dancer after she apparently zapped a co-worker with a stun gun. Kathleen Bennett was working at Cabaret North last monday when she got the news that she was fired ! We don't know why she was fired, but immediately afterwards waitress Jennifer McReynolds received a shocking zap from a stun gun. (so we can deduct that Jennifer had something to do with Kathleen being fired).
Watch the video here

Rick's Cabaret Sales Rise 30.27 Percent
Ricks Cabaret (tm)
Since we have no clear "measurement" of how strip clubs do around the world, we can guide ourselves with the ones that need to report their earnings.
Ricks cabaret said revenues at its nightclubs rose 30.3 percent in the quarter ending June 30, 2009, to $20.7M, setting a new company record for quarterly sales.
The increase in revenues was attributed primarily to improving sales at the company's Rick's Cabaret Las Vegas club.
Is the economy turning around?

To Tax A strip Club or Not to Tax
Our friends in Texas are having a hard time with this taxing thing, in case you haven't heard legislation passed a while ago requesting Strip Clubs a per visitor tax of $5. The law was meant to fund programs assisting victims of sexual assault (wich is a noble cause), but Club patrons complain that they should not be the only ones being taxed, normal clubs and bars should also be taxed.
The tax law was declared unconstitutional, but still the local goverments wan't to collect the tax because if the ruling is reversed, clubs might have to pay regardless.
So far more than 12 million dollars have been collected on taxes, if the law is indeed confirmed unconstitutional then Treasures in Houston should get a fat check back for over $700,000 they already paid in taxes but it seems like most clubs are not paying.
