Rachelle Laree got nominated for Entertainer of the Year for Exotic Dancer Magazine. The Strip Club search asked her a couple of questions for our readers.

Q: Tell us a bit about where you and where do you come from?

Rachelle: I was born and raised in Elkins, WV and lived there until I was 16 years old,I moved to Ashland, Va. which is about 20 minutes north of Richmond, Va. and have lived there pretty much ever since.

I got into the industry as a house girl several years ago after a short lived marriage. I always loved the spotlight (I was a cheerleader & gymnast in school and I loved to dance) so I decided to combine all of that with being an exhbisionist and started working at the Paper Moon in Richmond, Va.  I even got a small moon tattoo the week I began dancing danced on and off for several years and 3 years ago when one of the other clubs I worked at part time (Candy Bar) had a feature (Levena Holmes)…she told me I needed to get my ass on the road and start featuring…and that my style of dancing and personality would do well on the circuit. – She told me about NUDES-A-POPPIN which is the world’s largest outdoor beauty pageant…and that it was a great place to get started in the industry. I went up there and ended up winning Miss Nude Rising Star ’06 "Miss Nude Go-go" Miss Nude Crowd Pleaser, and was a Miss Nude North America finalist.
After the contest I contacted an agent (Lykens Entertainment) and went to my first feature booking just 3 weeks later. I work with several different agents now but mostly with Continental Agency and A-List features but I will never forget how Ken at Lykens got me started.

Q: You are on tour, where are you going next?

I am currently on tour all over the US. My schedule is on my myspace www.myspace.com/rachellelaree1  and my website will be up and running very soon. I will be in NC & WV next week then back down to Tampa, Fl to perform at The Tampa Gold Club. I absolutely love being on stage! My style of performing is a little different I incorporate gymnastics, breakdancing, and my kooky personality into my shows.

What Projects are you currently working on?

I am preparing for the Gentleman’s Club Expo Aug  23rd-26th at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas where I will be performing twice out there. I am also writing a weekly blog for A Entertainment News Rachelle’s Road to Expo which chronicles my preparations for the event you can find it at www.tonybatman.com

You've won several awards, including the Golden G String contest, can you tell us about that?

This year has been an amazing year and I’m grateful for all the things I was able to do. I competed in the invitation only Penthouse Golden G-String contest held at the Penthouse Club in New Orleans in February along with 11 other entertainers. I am proud to say that I am the PENTHOUSE GOLDEN G-STRING OVERALL WINNER ’09 and the PENTHOUSE MAGAZINE DIVISION GOLD MEDAL WINNER. I will be featured in an upcoming issue of Penthouse for the G-String coverage; and I am a ’09 Penthouse Golden G-String Calendar Girl.
Soon after the G-Strings I began getting ready for the EXOTIC DANCER NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP which was held at the PINK PONY SOUTH in Atlanta Ga. – These two competitions are the premier events in the feature industry…along with The World Pageants (I was unable to attend those because of prior bookings)…The EDNC was May 28-30…there were 17 feature entertainers, showgirls, and adult film stars who competed… I won !!!woo hoo. Lol… So my most recent title is the EXOTIC DANCER NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP – GRAND CHAMPION. Along with cash prizes, feature bookings, and an amazing crown and trophy…I received an automatic nomination for ENTERTAINER OF THE YEAR…Which will be announced at the awards ceremony where all 5 nominees will be performing…on August 25th at The Joint in The Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas during the Gentleman’s Club Expo.

When you are not working, what do you like to do?

When I do have some down time I love to read, write, dance, work out, spend time with my fabulous best friend Michael Christian who is also my roadie, hair and makeup artist, and choreographer! I am recently single so I am enjoying having some quality "me time".
