The The US Pole Dance Federation (USPDF) hosted the first annual US Pole Dance Championship. Be advised, this is not a strip competition, the rules of the contest state:  "No nudity, no G-strings or thongs. Violation of this requirement leads to immediate disqualification."
So this competition was more about the dancing, acrobatics and art of dancing around a pole.

Jenyne Butterfly was the favorite among the contestants (12 of them), but some contestants like Lauren Goldstein, Alethea Austin and Sarah Cretful where looking for the medal .

In the end Jenyne got the first place and Miss USPDF, Sarah Cretul got the Miss Trixter award, and Alethea Austin got Miss Sexy The winner gets to be on the Front Page of Pole2Pole Magazine, a trip to Australia for the Miss Pole Dance Australia competition and a choice to compete in the World Pole and Fitness Championship in Jamaica
